Muktinath Yatra offers you the chance to embark on a journey through the green hills of central Nepal, passing through the lakeside city of Pokhara and finally through the arid valleys of Jomsom to Muktinath. This is one of the most popular tour destinations in Nepal as it offers a cultural, religious, spiritual and adventurous experience, all in one package. The 6 day trip begins with a short cultural tour around the capital, followed by a drive along the Prithivi Highway to Pokhara. The next day consists of a full day of driving past various Thakali and Gurung villages including Tatopani and Marpha to Jomsom. The few days of jeep ride through the lush green hills, sub alpine forests and the Mustangi landscape, which is reminiscent of the vast Tibetan plateau is sure to be an adventure. Fantastic views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri ranges certainly add to this experience as well. Finally, after a short drive and hike the following morning, you will be at the Sacred Muktinath Temple.
